Terms of Use – KPG Scene

These terms apply to everyone who uses KPG Scene (https://kpgscene.vercel.app): artists who register, organisers and venues who browse or send booking requests, and anyone who adds a party to the events board. By using the site you agree to them.

1. What KPG Scene is

KPG Scene is a listing and introduction service. We show which DJs, producers and live acts are on Koh Phangan and which parties are happening, and we put organisers and artists in touch. We are not a party to any booking. Any agreement to perform, and any payment, is between the artist and the organiser.

2. Registering as an artist

You must be 18 or older.
You must be the person you say you are, and the music links you provide must be your own sets or your own music.
We review every registration. We may decline or remove a profile at any time, for any reason, without giving one. Typical reasons: no listenable set, a profile that is not a real person, dates that are not kept up to date, or behaviour at a gig that an organiser reports to us.
You are responsible for keeping your dates and availability current. If you leave the island, mark it on your personal link.
Your personal link is yours alone. Do not share it. If you think someone else has it, ask us for a new one.

3. Booking requests and gigs

A booking request sent through the site goes directly to the artist, together with your contact details. Everything about the gig – fee, set time, gear, transport, payment – is agreed between the artist and the organiser. KPG Scene is not a party to that agreement, does not handle payment between you, and takes no commission.
Artists decide which gigs to accept. Organisers decide whom to book. We do not guarantee that any request leads to a gig, or that any artist will be available.
The same applies to "find a venue" and "missing gear" posts: venues and suppliers reply to you directly, and whatever you agree is between you and them.
We are not responsible for a cancelled gig, an unpaid fee, damaged equipment, or anything that happens at a party. We will, however, remove artists, organisers, venues or suppliers who repeatedly no-show, cancel late or fail to pay.
Fees. Browsing, registering, listing a party, a venue or a supplier, and sending and answering requests are free. Artists are never charged. The paid items are the optional features on our Pricing page (kpgscene.vercel.app/pricing) – currently "Match" for organisers (an automatic shortlist of available artists, sending a request to all of them, and alerts about newly available artists, for one party or for a recurring party for 30 days), "Organizer Match" for venues (receiving organisers' venue requests and being listed to organisers, for 30 days), and "Promote" for a party. Each is a one-time payment for a digital feature the site provides automatically for a fixed period; the price shown at checkout is the price that applies.
These features find and connect people; they do not guarantee that any artist accepts, that any organiser books, or that any party happens. What is agreed after a connection is between the parties.
Paid features are paid by card through our payment provider, which acts as the merchant of record and issues the invoice; its terms apply to the card transaction. A feature is not refunded once it has been used (a request sent, a listing shown), except a party that is cancelled or declined, which is refunded automatically. We may run launch or promotional periods during which features are free; the Pricing page says when they end.

4. Adding a party to the events board

Only list parties you organise or are authorised to list. Listing is free.
Listings are reviewed before they appear. We may edit a listing for clarity, decline it, or remove it.
You must have the right to use the flyer and any images you upload.
Listings imported from other public event pages are shown with credit and a link to the source. If you are the organiser of an imported party, you can claim it, edit it or ask for it to be removed.

5. Reviews

An artist decides whether organisers may review them. Reviews are off unless the artist switches them on, and can be switched off again at any time – existing reviews are then hidden, not deleted.
Only an organiser who booked the artist through KPG Scene, for a gig that happened, can write a review – one per booking. There are no anonymous reviews and no reviews from the public.
A review shows the organiser's first name or the venue's name (the organiser chooses), the date, the stars, the text and the tags. The organiser's e-mail is never shown. The stars and their number are public; the texts are shown to organisers and venues.
Every review is checked before it appears. Write honestly and about the gig: no insults, personal details or anything unlawful.
The artist can hide any review of them from their profile. We may remove any review that breaks these terms.

6. Daily updates

"Tonight on Koh Phangan" is a free daily message with the evening's parties. You can get it by e-mail (you confirm with one tap in the first e-mail), or follow our Telegram channel or WhatsApp channel.
Every e-mail has a link to stop it at once. We count how many e-mails are opened and which links are tapped, in total, to know whether the message is useful; we do not follow what any one person does.
Parties listed there come from the events board. A promoted party (see the Pricing page) is shown first; it is marked as promoted.

7. Your content

You keep all rights to your photo, music, bio and other material. By registering or listing, you give us permission to show that material on KPG Scene and in messages we send about the site (for example, a "just landed" post featuring your profile) for as long as your profile or listing is live. If you remove your profile, that permission ends.

8. What you may not do

Register more than once, or on behalf of someone else without their permission.
Contact artists or organisers found on the site for anything other than gigs.
Scrape, copy or republish the list of artists or events.
Upload content that is illegal, hateful, sexual, or that you do not have the rights to.
Interfere with the site or try to access data that is not yours.

We may suspend or remove anyone who does any of the above.

9. Our service

KPG Scene is provided as is. We aim to keep it accurate and available but do not promise that it will be error-free, that every profile is accurate, or that the site will always be online. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the site or from any gig arranged through it.

10. Privacy

How we handle your personal information is described in our Privacy Policy. It is part of these terms.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the current version. If you keep using the site after a change, you accept the new terms. For changes that matter, registered artists will be told by email.
